Foxes And Badgers

Filming by Badger Bushcraft. All rights reserved

Filmed in Kent, England by Phil Brown of Badger Bushcraft January 2012.

During the January 2012 whilst using infrared (IR) trail cameras at a badger sett we captured, over the course of one evening, the seldom seen interaction of wild foxes and badgers. The fox (Vulpes vulpes) was initially quite timid and kept a respectful distance from the badger (Meles meles) population.

"Year 5 took part in a ‘Badger Bush Craft’ workshop. This was a whole day of practical activities led by Phil Brown, a specialist in outdoor learning. Following this a number of children together with their families were invited to take part in a Saturday workshop to learn survival skills, building shelters, lighting fires etc. This was part of an extended services project."
