I have recently acquired a delightful book written by Adele Nozedar and gloriously illustrated by Lizzie Harper called “The Hedgerow Handbook – Recipes, Remedies and Rituals”. This book is a splendid read for those of us with a love of botany and “The Great British Hedgerow” but I think this will appeal also to any with a love of books as a whole.

Charles Thurlow Craig

101 Uses for Stinging Nettles by Piers Warren is an interesting paperback book that I purchased last week from an online retailer.

How much do you know about a plant that most very young children can easily identify?
