Badger Bushcraft Filming With Kent Children's University
Written by Phil Brown, Badger Bushcraft blog Sunday, 24 February 2013 11:49
This week we were delighted to host a film crew that were filming an advert for Kent Children’s University at our beautiful private 100 acre woodland site in the heart of the glorious Kent countryside.
As regular readers and clients will already know we are passionate about getting children in to the outdoors and teaching them skills for life, in 2012 we worked with over 6,000 young people! Badger Bushcraft is also proud to have been an Affiliated Leaning Destination for Kent Children’s University since 2010.
To facilitate the day for the film crew and the young actor we erected a large cargo parachute over the campfire and seating area, built a leaf litter thermal A-frame shelter and made a display of some of the primitive technology and some woodcraft items and treen ware that we teach people how to make.
The film crew arrived to meet us in the woods on a bright but frosty morning and we had a lot of fun whilst filming fire making, shelter building and a brief lecture about primitive technology.
We managed to get a few pictures of the day and to put together a short “trailer” on the iPad that we uploaded to our YouTube Channel.

We are really excited about seeing the advert in full and will post it up on the website as soon as it is ready! We are also looking forward to our continued work with KCU in 2013 and beyond!
All the best,
Phil.

Thanks for the comments, I have emailed you over the details.
Best regards,
Phil.
Having seen this I would love to know how I could book children on the Kent Children's University scheme so that they could have a course with you. Any contacts please.
Well done and thanks.
