This morning we awoke early to find that despite a bitterly cold night the snows are on they way out. The final blow is the incoming rain that, as I write, is now falling on the office roof.

The first of the winter snows around our home in Kent are now upon us! Today we had a cancelled appointment so Inca, The Bushcraft Dog, and I went for walks through the snow laden fields that surround our village home in Kent

We had a most wonderful day out at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum this weekend. There is so much to see and do at there that a day never seems long enough. The buildings are just amazing and really do provide a way to step back in time and reconnect with our ancestors and certainly help me to complete the mental images I have of how our forebears used to live.
