CPD, Staff Training and Train The Trainer
Badger Bushcraft is also highly experienced in staff training, "training the trainer" and helping support organisations and individuals with their CPD (continuing professional development) and CPE (continuing professional education). We have developed bespoke programmes and delivered many courses aimed at not only progressing the skills and knowledge of educators and practitioners but also bolstering confidence in teaching outside the classroom.
"If we want children to flourish, to become truly empowered, then let us allow them to love the earth before we ask them to save it. Perhaps this is what Thoreau had in mind when he said, "the more slowly trees grow at first, the sounder they are at the core, and I think the same is true of human beings." - David Sobel, Beyond Ecophobia
We have also been commissioned and employed to help design outside teaching areas and to develop existing outdoor classrooms and areas to provide shelter and a safe working environment that is complimentary to and enhances the natural environment.
A day with Badger Bushcraft will inspire and give confidence to your team to get out of doors and use the outside classroom to enhance and deliver a different dimension to lessons, further engage pupils and inspire to comfortably and safely explore the gifts of Mother Nature.
Training can be delivered at either our farm or one of our woodland sites in Kent or we can pack one of the Land Rovers and travel to you. Whatever your training and staff development goals are and regardless of your location Badger Bushcraft can provide you with a high quality training experience tailored around your requirements and your budget.

"I just wanted to add my thanks for the training you provided recently, as my son Ben was one of the Young Leaders there on the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself and found your training very useful."
Nick Bodycombe, Chair of the 44th Swansea Scouts
"Thanks again for an excellent weekend. Uniformly great feedback from everyone. We all learnt loads and had great fun."
Julian Morgan 44th Swansea Scouts
"I just wanted to say thank you once again for your contribution to a very successful day on Thursday. The feedback was generally excellent. I will collate it and send you a copy but in the mean time here's a couple of quotes and a couple of pictures.
'Very interesting, I learnt lots of interesting and fascinating things. I am going to look at getting Phil into school.'
'10/10 Loved the different ways to make fire – especially electricity.'
'Excellent 10/10 particularly enjoyed the fire lighting. Also learnt that some of the barriers I perceived to hold back outdoor learning are not a reality.'
'A very enthusiastic instructor. I never knew lighting a fire was so easy.'
Sarah Collings, Senior Instructor Bowles Centre
"Our staff all came away very excited and keen to get going and felt you were a very good trainer - which you were. Your passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject clearly rubbed off on us all and we really enjoyed ourselves and learnt a lot. So thank you once again and I will be in contact should we get further funding to extend what we are doing."
Jenny Glanfield, Community Education Officer Groundwork Kent & Medway
