We were recently contacted by RDF Television who are looking for contestants aged between 18-25 for the new television series Shipwrecked 2011 on Channel 4. If you feel you are up to the challenge then the email in this Badger Bushcraft News post might be of interest!
“Hi Phil,
Thank you for your help on the phone earlier regarding the brand new TV series ‘Shipwrecked 2011’ that we are producing for Channel 4.
The program features a group of young people aged between 18-25 living in a ‘back to basics’ environment on a desert island in the heart of the South Pacific. We are keen to feature a diverse range of people that are lively and open to the challenges that the environment will pose. We are currently looking for people that are interested in taking part and are casting very soon.
It would be great to get some of your members or staff to apply as it would be good to have someone with survival skills on the island who would know what they were doing in terms of shelter and fire building. If you could circulate the attached flyer in anyway you see fit, I would very much appreciate it!
If there is anyone you think there is anyone who would be particularly suitable, they can email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. as soon as possible or call me on 0207 013 4130.
Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Stephanie”
If you do get an opportunity for an interview please do let us know how you get on. Good luck!
