The Badger Bushcraft team were delighted to recently support the Learning Plus Expo where we had a trade stand providing teachers and those associated with schools and education the opportunity to discuss how we can support their school both in their outdoor educational and classroom based needs.
“The 2012 Learning Plus EXPO comes to Kent in a new era for education and children’s services.
For the last three years, Learning Plus has been working with External Providers, who offer high quality learning opportunities outside the normal curriculum time and with the recent announcement of Department for Education funding for transition activities* as well as the introduction of the Pupil Premium, schools are looking for innovative ways to narrow attainment and achievement gaps.”
As a recognised and respected External Provider and Vetted Centre for Outdoor Education we were thrilled to support this event with both our trade stand, school discount vouchers and by providing a raffle prize worth over £350.00.
The day was exceptionally well organised and run by the Learning Plus Team and we would like to personally thank Emma Jenkins, Sean Carter, Guy Bartlett and their supporting staff plus all those that took the time to visit our stand.
We now look forward to developing our unique and very highly regarded courses and programmes into even more schools in throughout Kent and the South East.
